Jill & TJ 08.29.09

A little rain from tropical storm Danny wasn’t about to spoil the fun for these two! Jill and TJ meet in the Mansion house early in the afternoon to do all of their family photos early before their party started in the Bay Pine Pavilion. I had to hold them back from running out in the rain till after the ceremony. :-)

After the ceremony Danny let up for a moment then I stole the happy couple and ran to the beach for a few quick shots before it got dark. If you are in the planning stages of your day consider seeing each other before your wedding and you will have many more options on your day!

Sarah & Morgan 08.15.09

These two were already actually married when I photographed their celebration with their families at the Brookside club in Bourne. Morgan & Sarah actually tied the knot in Hawaii earlier this year. Morgan is a Captain in the Army and recently returned home to finally celebrate his marriage with Sarah. Congratulations you two! Thank you for your sacrifice and service to our country!

Falmouth Road Race 08.09.09

Well after two back to back weddings I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it to the start line on Sunday morning. Bright skies and cool dry air helped get me going that and knowing if I didn’t make it I would be breaking my streak…..this was to be number 5 in a row! It’s one of my favorite races of the year. This time I was going to be sans a few friends that I had run the race before……they didn’t get a number this time, but Kelli and the girls were at their usual spot cheering me on.

Right before the race began I actually ran into Anne & Dan (Wedding from June) they were running the race too! It was great to see them and have someone to chat with before they fired the cannon.

Here is a pic I took with my iPhone of my view of Woods Hole as I walked to the start. Check out the cool video of the race at www.falmouthroadrace.com

Erin & Greg 08.07.09

Congratulations to Erin and Greg!! This past winter I was getting ready to go on a hike down the Grand Canyon when I got an instant message on facebook. It was Greg……..”Hey Tom……um I may be in need of your services in August.” See Greg used to work for our event division of Northern Images while he was in high school so we had stayed in touch online. Seems like it was just yesterday you where helping me take packages to the post office.

It was great seeing you and your family again and meeting Erin and her family. You too had a beautiful day and a absolutely gorgeous location!! It’s nice to get off Cape now and again. I do like to travel :-)

Yvonne & Carl 07.25.09

“Wanna make 20 bucks?” Not too many romances begin this way. Carl was simply offering to pay for gas if Yvonne took him out on her boat. Well it worked. In July Carl and Yvonne tied the knot at the Dan’l Webster Inn in Sandwich. I had the pleasure of capturing these two on their day.

Deeanna & Kevin 07.11.09

Congrats to these two love birds from New Zealand…….well at least Dee is from the South Pacific. Kevin all of your American friends must be jealous that you get the beautiful girl and get to live in such a beautiful country! Dee and Kevin worked together for a summer down cape at a clam shack and decided to come all the way back for their wedding. They were married at the Brewster Baptist Church and a reception followed at the Pavillion at Captains Golf Course.

Oh the guys with no shirts……..um just a bit of Kiwi fun! It was actually a haka which is the traditional dance form of the Māori of New Zealand. It is also performed by the All Blacks a New Zealand rugby team. Check out the video on you tube.
